I made Chocolate Chip Blondies from the My Baking Addiction recipe. The chocolate ganache was a bit runny and I wanted to use it as a frosting instead of a sauce. So I put in the refrigerator for 45 minutes and stirred it every 15 minutes. After spreading it over the blondies, I put the pan of blondies in the refrigerator overnight. This didn't solidify the ganache sufficiently, so I cut them up and put them on a plate in the freezer. Why all this fuss? They're being transported to work in one of my bike panniers. If I make them again, I'll probably skip the ganache as they will be quite delicious without it.


It was the end of a Marimekko season and the various Marimekko sellers were getting rid of inventory. Thus I decreased my checking account and increased my Marimekko stash. What will I do with it? No clue. Thinking of making a skirt of Marimekko fabric and then wearing it into the Marimekko store in Copenhagen this summer.
